MURAL PROJECT - RUN
Neumarkter Straße, Munich
The mural project RUN at Neumarkter Straße in Munich consists of two large-scale wall installations that transform the architecture into a striking visual landmark.
The first wall, measuring approximately 20 x 20 meters, features a collaborative artwork by Fillin Guas and Shamey. Covering the entire surface is Fillin Guas‘ signature tag pattern, a repetitive typographic composition that creates rhythm, movement, and depth. Emerging from this dynamic background is a monumental astronaut painted by Shamey. The figure, positioned between urban culture and imagination, carries the Bogner logo on its chest, referencing the building’s function as the company’s office headquarters. The interplay between typography and figurative painting creates a bold visual dialogue that connects art, identity, and place.

The second wall extends over approximately 80 x 20 meters and serves as the central statement of the project. Painted by Fillin Guas & the whole team, it features the word RUN in monumental scale, executed in a classic, bold typographic style. Reduced to a simple palette of grey tones, the mural balances restraint and impact, creating a powerful presence without overwhelming its architectural surroundings.
The title RUN is directly linked to the building itself, which incorporates an indoor running track. Beyond this physical reference, the word becomes a broader symbol of movement, ambition, progress, and contemporary urban life. Its oversized presence transforms a single word into an architectural gesture — simple, direct, and impossible to ignore.
Commissioned by Neuplan, the project combines contemporary muralism, typography, and urban identity into a cohesive visual concept that engages with both the function of the building and the people who interact with it every day.
