SPEED is one of the daefining forces of our time.
What once belonged to motorsport has become the rhythm of modern life. We communicate faster, consume faster, travel faster and constantly strive for more. Project 6.01 explores this acceleration through the language of racing.
At its center stands an original Porsche 997 GT3 Cup race car, transformed into a visual manifesto. Covered entirely with the repeated word „SPEED“, the vehicle becomes both object and message. Applied by artist Fillin Guas like a second skin, the tag pattern follows every contour of the car, merging language, performance, and form.
The installation expands beyond the vehicle itself. A dog sculpture, a workshop trolley, a compressed-air cylinder, four black-and-white fire extinguishers, and four original „Ink on Glass“ artworks by Fillin Guas create a narrative environment inspired by motorsport. Together, they explore themes of ambition, control, risk, endurance, and the relentless pursuit of speed.
An authentic race car with documented history in the Porsche Supercup and VLN championship, the Porsche remains fully operational and race-ready. Within Project 6.01, however, it becomes more than a machine—it becomes a symbol of society’s permanent acceleration.
Project 6.01 exists between admiration and critique.
The racetrack becomes a metaphor for everyday life.
The car becomes a mirror.
SPEED.
